Welcome!

I love the way my friend Monica Ricci has created a popular blog that she generously uses to improve the world through her advice, insights, and even her fun life experiences. During a wonderful barbeque dinner tonight she highly suggested I begin to share some of my business advice, show business stories, and travel experiences with the world through my own blog.

So here I am, writing my first blog post, hoping this space will provide an opportunity for me to inspire, entertain, and motivate some folks. I fell in love with magic when I was nine years old, began performing professionally when I was ten! After all these years in the industry, I am still (as my friend Keith exclaimed a few days ago) obsessed with magic. Just returned from attending a very cool magic convention in Las Vegas called "Magic Live!" Three very enjoyable days spending lots of time with old friends, making new friends, and seeing major magic celebrities. Three very long days listening to lectures, panel discussions, interviews, and historical retrospectives, accented by magic shows performed by world-renowned magicians.

One of the joys of being a successful corporate magician is being afforded the ability to travel and attend magic conferences where I get to mix and mingle with my peers, meet and become friends with magic superstars, and see some of the best magicians in the world perform their best stuff. Some of them also share their knowledge and offer advice to help attendees improve their performances, attain success, and reach their goals.

After such a fun, amusing, and inspiring week at Magic Live!, I feel better equipped to reach my goals... and my main goal is to discover and share the real magic in the world. I'm very lucky to do what I love for a living... traveling around the country and the world making people laugh, smile, and think.

I've called this blog "A Magical Connection" because this is a way to connect with others, and to share experiences that I hope will make my readers smile, perhaps teach them a thing or two, and will hopefully offer the inspiration and motivation for you all to excel in your lives.

What do you consider magical in your life?
